Official road speed-limit schedules
Fallback limits are estimates from LTA traffic signs. The default is 50 km/h. Signs are candidates within 60 m in a cone that narrows from ±90° nearby to ±20° at 60 m, mirrored behind after passing. A limit applies after consecutive GPS positions confirm passage and its bearing agrees with your heading (±45°). Corner candidates are rechecked over the next 30 m travelled. Tap the limit within 7 seconds of a change to restore the previous limit. The rejected sign is ignored until another qualifying sign is passed. A turn of at least 60° resets a normal sign limit. School-zone entry sets 40 km/h until an End of School Zone sign restores the preceding limit, including through turns and other speed signs inside the zone. Flashing-light conditions are not evaluated. Sound is disabled below a 60 km/h limit. Parallel roads, temporary limits and missing signs can affect estimates.
